Operations Engineer

Operations Engineer

WHAT WE DO

We invite you to be part of our diverse, passionate and hard-working team, managing systems for large customers who need to crunch through Tbps of data in real-time. Our approach is relentless performance-oriented software engineering vs. server sprawl in our customers' data centres. You will use the latest high-end hardware and continuously devise ways to push the envelope of software performance.

We are a team of highly adaptable system administrators, dealing with multiple tasks and systems — from wonderful Linux firewall, data processing, to configuring advance traffic filtering systems for a large quantity of machines, we do it all. We participate and support in all aspects of the projects delivery to our clients, collaborating closely with Mobileum teams of Client Partnerships, Data Scientists and Developers.

It is our role to work collaboratively with the other Engineering teams to deploy and operate our systems, help automate and streamline our operations and processes, build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations, and troubleshoot and resolve issues in our different environments.

YOUR ROLE AS OPERATIONS ENGINEER

As Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting end-to-end in the deployment of new projects — from the development of design and dimensioning, to providing guidance in defining the operational requirements and development forecasts to allow for timely and accurate planning of projects, up to the execution itself by installing the solution into our customer premises and deploying the system.

You will also participate in proactive and reactive support. You will engage directly with customers, troubleshoot and execute solutions to ensure customers satisfaction via several maintenance activities, including performance monitoring, resources utilisation, health checks as well as periodic or ad-hoc software updates.
